Is KILLCUT really free?
Yes. The free version is paid for by ads and covers everything you need to make a great clip, with no account. Ads never cover the editor. KILLCUT Pro, coming soon, adds the time savers like killfeed watch, auto punch ins and 1080p.
When does Pro launch, and what will it cost?
Pro is in the works. Join the waitlist and you'll hear first, before pricing goes public.
Does my video get uploaded anywhere?
No. Your video is processed inside your browser and never sent to our servers or anyone else's.
Does it actually know when I get a kill?
Partly. The scan listens for gunfire and loud moments, and with Pro's killfeed watch it spots new entries appearing in your feed. It can't read player names yet, so a teammate's kill counts too. Always give each clip a quick look.
What games does it work with?
KILLCUT is tuned for Call of Duty and Warzone, including streams with a facecam. Other shooters work too, since the audio scan and killfeed box don't depend on one game.
Which browser should I use?
Chrome or Edge on a computer gives the best results and saves MP4 files. Firefox works and saves WebM. Safari can't record video reliably yet.
Can I use it on my phone?
You can scan and review on a phone, but rendering works best on a computer. Keep the tab open and in front while a clip renders.
Can I remove the KILLCUT watermark?
Removing it is part of Pro. On free clips it stays on, which helps other players find KILLCUT and keeps it free.
